Re-Entry
Re-Entry Explained
What is a Re-Entry?
A Re-Entry allows you to enter a trade after you missed the first entry, as long as the trade is still active.
Simple idea:
• The trade is not finished yet
• Stop-Loss and Take-Profit are still valid
• You can enter again when price returns to the entry level
When is a Re-Entry allowed?
A Re-Entry is allowed only if all conditions are met:
✓ The original trade is still running
✓ Take-Profit/Stop-Loss is not hit
✓ Price touches the Re-Entry level
✓ The current session is still active
Session rule (important)
Re-Entries are only allowed within the defined session.
Example:
• Session: 08:00 – 12:00
• After 12:00 → no more Re-Entry
Every touch of the original entry line can be used as a Re-Entry,
as long as the trade is still active (TP or SL not hit).
• Only ONE order may be placed per Re-Entry
• Re-Entry exists only to catch a missed trade
• No stacking or multiple orders on repeated touches
even if the trade is still open.
This keeps the system structured and consistent.
How Re-Entry works (in practice)
You missed the first entry? No problem.
When price touches the entry line again:
• Place a limit order
• Use the same Stop-Loss
• Use the same Take-Profit
It does not matter:
• if price is moving toward Stop-Loss
• or toward Take-Profit
The structure stays the same.
In short
✓ Missed the entry? → Relax
✓ Trade still active? → Re-Entry allowed
✓ Session still running? → You’re good
✓ Same levels, same structure → Always
Simple. Clean. Disciplined.
